Lee An Visited Indonesia
"Enthusiastic to Promote Korea Through Music and Song"
Music and Culture, are two things which had tight relationship, because music is one of culture element from a country. And so Lee An, Korean singer which is because of his music and song choosed as Ambassador of Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) from Korea.
Bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Korea is good enough. This marked with cooperation in many sector such as economy, social and culture. In the framework to improve the cooperation in culture between Indonesia and Korea, The South Korea goverment formed KTo (Korean Torism Organization).
In the framework to improve the cooperation in culture between Indonesia and Korea, for few days Lee An visit to some of main cities in Indonesia, Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta. Through music and songs, Lee An wants to introduce Korea to Internasional, including Indonesia.
In Jakarta, Lee An had full agenda. At 3rd April 2009, he scheduled to meet journalists at Shangrilla Hotel, Jakarta. Before the press conference, Lee An met some mass media who would like to do exclusive interview, including with Asian Plus Group. Although just one day arrived from Surabaya, Lee An admited that he fells so happy could meet mass media in Jakarta. He even didn't seem tired, because some of his fans, who came from Singapore and Jakarta, keep supporting him.
Even at the exclusive interview session Lee An accompanied by his fan who waited patiently and orderly.
After finished the exclusive interview, Lee An hold a press conference at 5pm in Padang Room, Shangrilla Hotel, Jakarta in the framework of his involvement as Ambassador of KTO in Indonesia. Previously, artist who will release his 3rd album in next June, friendly greeted the journalists from Jakarta and Bandung.
After that, Mr. yang Moon Soo as the Director of KTO welcomed about KTO's mission. Following with a presentation about KTO and promotion of Korean culture. Explained too by the host, as a singer and a producer, Lee An was the best choice to help promote Korean Culture to Indonesian people, especially teenages so that the income from tourism sector could increase after fallen caused by the global finance crisis,
For around 1,5 hours Lee An and Mr. Yang Moon Soo hold a press conference with mass media from Jakarta and bandung. All the journalist's questions most about the journey of KTO also about the bilateral relationship between Korean and Indonesia. Even, Me. Yang Moon Soo commended the openess of mind of the citizens in Jakarta in accepted all the changes happened. This a little different with Korean people that not too open into new things,
After the press conference, Lee An immediately prepare himself to greet the travel agencies from Indonesia who open tourism bureau to Korea to introduce the programs from KTO. In the warm and friendly atmosphere. Lee An look intimate while talk with the enterprenaur from Korea and Indonesia. After that informal meeting, continued by introduction of Korean Sparkling formally in a dinner full with family atmosphere.
